The 2025-2026 hybrid online and in-person Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) course, offers a comprehensive learning experience adapted from the Permaculture Research Institute Australia. The programme, totalling 90 hours (40 hours theory, 20 hours design practice, 32 hours practical workshops), aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to apply permaculture principles in their own lives.

Course Content & Structure
The course content includes permaculture ethics and principles, design processes, and practical application through group design projects and hands-on work in a garden setting. Topics covered range from soil, water, plants, and food production to built environments, resource utilization, and social systems, including community building. The hybrid format provides flexibility with weekly online modules starting in February and in-person practical workshops held twice a month on Saturdays/Sundays (9 am to 1 pm), alternating between English and French sessions.

Certification & Organisation
The course is certified by the Permaculture Association UK and is organised in collaboration with various ecological and solidarity transition actors in the region. The main instructor is Dr. Katy Fox, an engaged anthropologist, permaculture designer and activist who has worked on socio-ecological regeneration projects and co-founded the eco-site Ferme du bout du monde Arlon.
